"flu-Jabs" ...... Are They Startin' Tae Watter Them Doon ?

Recommended Posts

Being of the aulder kind, I am maybe over worrying here...But I am no quite ready tae conk oot yet !!

Especially noo DFC are starting tae show their true worth. And the ither lot are fading into oblivion :)

Being prone tae chest infections every winter, when the first flu-injections came along, I had little faith

in them. So couldnae quite believe just how effective they turned oot tae be :D  However this year it

seems they must be wattering it doon  Efter years o flu-free winters, in the last four weeks, eh've

been laid up TWICE !!    So fellow Dees, whit's goin on here? Is Father Time catching up on me?

They make the vaccine up in advance for what they expect will be the main flu virus strains on the go, sometimes they don't get the most common strain that winter, last year was 3% effective a normal year it's 50%.

Thanks Bloomogg ....My post was only said in jest (Just thought I was less resistant as I got older)  Hope it's back to full strength next year :)
