Saying the money we`ve offered for Vincent and Williams is way above what they can offer them.

Saying he`ll be asked to drive them to Dens for the wages we`re offering.

Slightly concerned if we`re offering silly money for 2 injury prone players (if they are injury prone) be a step backwords imo as same old.

Injury prone aside are they an improvment on what we have ? (geniune question)

Was just the big money bit that threw me from reading Yogi`s comments.

Does PH have a very good budget for next season or is he throwing a big chunk of it at these 2

Taken with a pinch of salt. This is the same man that's forever saying on the tv and radio that his side look to get the ball down and play football. Which from the games we've played them is simply untrue.

He's just bitter that most of his team are getting a move and he isn't.

Anyway we should be able to offer better wages than Inverness anyway. Our average gate is about 35-40% more than Caley's plus we've got a money spinner on Saturday that will add to next season's coffers.

I'm sure we heard the same nonsense from Saints last year who were after Rory Loy. I think Hughes is more than likely having a go at his own board rather than suggesting we're offering silly money. Of course we can offer more than they can, we probably sell around 3 times more season tickets than they do. I'd be surprised if they were being offered wages anywhere near what Hemmings, Harkins, Stewart and Bain will be on to be honest.

Vincent hasnt played since the 2nd of January and only 16 times this season, do we need more squad players? How about putting both their wages together and going for someone better (no names just now!) and have Cammy, Wighton etc as the squad men?

I think Hughes is lashing out as it'll become clear that under the guidance of PH ex ICT players improve significantly, exposing his inability to build a team that plays any football and his failure to help players progress.

Look at how Ross has developed (I know it has taken time). He couldn't get a start under Hughes for the hammer throwers but is almost an ever present for us and we play some great stuff at times where he is a major influence.

I'd expect Williams and Vincent will be keen to come to us to see their careers flourish (and maybe get a wee pay rise too).

If this is a reference to the Sports Bit on STV a couple of nights ago ....

If I recall right, he said, the wages DFC are paying, ICT just could not compete with, and on that basis he would be happy to drive them doon himself.

Ye never ken when John Hughes is serious. He likes to try to entertain ....(At least on TV interviews) :)

The man is a buffoon. Why would he offer to drive them down? It's not as if we're buying them and ICT are making money out of it. If it happens, they're walking away from him, idiot. He comes across in the media as a friendly guy who wants his players to get the ball down and make passes. The truth is he wants his players to be thugs and push the boundaries at every opportunity.

Let's face it, Hartley is a better manager than Yogi, we're a bigger club with decent support, we've got a better team than ICT and we try to play good football.

In comparison - Icey Tea don't play any football. I'll be a happy man when we finally trounce that lot.

For me he, is directing the blame away from himself. Making it look like they are heading for more money when in reality he cannot develop a player and add to their game.

Of course being able to better support your family financially is a big incentive for players, but if i was a player I would want to be at a club where I can develop and play in a good atmosphere. We provide that as we can see how NR, GS, KH amongst others have developed whilst with us.

ICT have a brutal and almost barbaric approach to the game and it would be a no-brainer to come to Dens from the Highlands.
