Seems to be a little more consistency since O'Dea in and KT out. Loved KT as a player, but there seems to be a bit more team spirit? Maybe just looking too much into it

No, you're spot on. KT leaving has helped us to our best run and best form for some time

Could be part of it. I'd also suggest that Ross has grown into his role and has repaid a lot of the managers belief in him. Also got youngish players who were getting to know each other so think it took a bit of time for consistency.

We released 10 players in the summer who were previously in our first team squad and brought in 8 players (with only Low and Ross playing at this level) who were all relatively young and inexperienced. It's taken a bit of time but we're seeing results and we're hopefully at the point where we can make more focused incremental changes to our squad instead of a really high turnover.

Ross growing as a player has come from playing the same postion every week. Simple as that. Jumping back and forward to accommodate KT in no way helped him

Hindsight being what it is, it seems KT going seems like a good thing. I doubt we'll know the whole story, whether he was the problem or if there are other factors involved like Harry's view on Ross getting a regular run out. Whatever it is we seem to have got our sh*t in one sock and its a great time to hit form.

I was wary of signing O'Dea, players who are 'well travelled' sometimes have a bit of baggage although I never doubted his pedigree. At the Partick blizzard game when he had his debut I was impressed by his organising, even though he'd only been at the club a short time and while KT's departure has allowed the midfield to settle and improve (again maybe coincidence, who knows), I think O'Dea has made a big difference and for me has put himself in pole position to be my 'must re-sign' player.

Whatever the view of KT, I cannot believe  the uncertainty overall, to the DFC team. Collectively, and players individually, of whether he would be injured, whether he would be playing 90 minutes, whether he would be playing on the day, in that content, did not have a negative effect on may of the dfc players (anf of course the DFC fans supporters)

I don't know the backround of his move to Hibs, except what I picked up on here and other media.  But it didn't sound right !! ....And appeared to lack basic honesty ( Maybe I am olf-fashioned & over-sensitive in some areas, but eh cannae stand downright lies and deception)

Whether he justified the money he was paid by DFC under the circumstances is another argument .... Although, I think not.

If he received bigger bucks compared to the rest of the DFC squad (as I am imagine he did) or far too much importance & focus was put on him as a person/player, I think it would certainly affected other players, especially those who on the day, did not know if they were standing in for him or not. Playing Today?...Maybe aye & maybe no !!

(Sorry if this is going too much off topic) But the way KT left and what followed, it is still niggling awa at me. No player should be bigger than the Club he plays for) !!

More importantly, we are now doing better than fine with him gone. Well done to Paul Hartley. But a very special Well Done to all DFC Players who have stepped up to the plate.......as individuals .... and as a team  :)         C'mon the Dee, Onwards & Upwards :)
