No Pace

Once Boyle goes off there's no pace in that side. Ict picked us off with a pacey break and te dabs got 3 from that way last night.

We just dont have the ability to get in behind teams.

That said Hartleys subs were all wrong today. Ferry for stewart was baffling.

Bad day at office

Have to say that even with Boyle on there is no pace.  Thought he was mediocre against Aberdeen and poor today.  Has the pace but hasn't a clue how to use it.  Trying to beat the defenders from a standing start and failing every time.

Agree with the point re Ferry.

Just don't see what Ferry brings to the team. Just ambles about, unable to stay on his feet and losing possession.

Would have liked to have seen Wighton on for Stewart.

ferry is the poor mans McBride with better hair.

Roberts should have been brought in with a rocket up his ar** that if he was poor he's out on loan to Peterhead

Said at the time it should have been Wighton on for Stewart - at a push, Roberts.  Just don't get the thinking behind Ferry coming on at that point whatsoever.

This. Ferry seems like a beginner every time he comes on. Atleast The Tank put in a better performance than he has done in months.

Not at the races today I'm afraid. Everything seemed to crumble when Stewart went off. Strange move to bring on Ferry. Don't agree that Harkins had a bad game. I thought at least he was trying to create opportunities going forward. No service for Clarky and just not getting turned to face goal or playing far enough up the park either. On the back foot for the entire second half and you could see their winner coming.. Boyle was frustrating. He picks the ball up with his back to goal and only managed to beat his full back maybe a couple of times from a standing start. One trick pony with knocking the ball past and claiming obstruction when motoring to get to it. Bad day at the office all round. We need McGowan back and hopefully Stewart's injury is not too bad. Fear the worst with Thomson again - another two months out??
