I jokingly suggested the same and it didn't go down well. The late fitness tests might well be a cunning ruse by PH, wily fox that he is.

If Meggatt plays I think the joke will be on us. The lad didn't look up to it before but maybe the Championship is his level and he'll be fine today?

I'd imagine O'Dea will be desparate to play and that one of Konrad or Jules will make it.

Stewart maybe thinks that putting The Rangers out of the cup he will blow his chances of a move to them in the summer so he's not feeling too great this weekend?

I'm sure rangers would rather shell out cash for a player that can perform well in the big games rather than someone who doesn't fancy it tbh.Im sure Stewart will do everything he can in his power to play and perform well today

I'm sure The Rangers would rather progress to the cup semi using any method they can. I don't see them being too disappointed if Stewart misses the game through 'injury' or plays but performs poorly. It won't stop them trying to pinch him off us for peanuts in the summer - indeed, it may be used to justify offering us a derisory amount!!
