This Has Not Been A Good Day For Us !

Recommended Posts

This Forum In the main should all be about DFC and although I did not labour the point I did put in one post about the debacle at Ibrox Today.

I'd like to have posted a lot more. But as I could not think of anything positive to say today that would lift my depressed feeling, I just left it !!

Wrongly as it happened I listened to the game on BBC at Dingwall. To be honest I could not believe what was going on. Now I'm really seek.

Certainly not going to praise them for there accomplishment up there today with ten men. But personally I am not going to totally ignore it.

This will only give them more reason to gloat (I'm assuming they are, although I've not looked at their forum) Let them enjoy it while they can.

The humiliating defeat at Ibrox was a hard & sore one to take. But it is now past and it is only one game. The same applies to them doon

the road. Their day was the exact opposite of our miserable day. (Maybe they were due it) But it was only ONE game. My view and my

ardent wish is, they are still going DOON !!  And at any stretch of the imagination will they ever win the Cup !!    (Hope eh'm right here)

It's been a bad day right enough Gedee.

You may not have the same sense of humour as me but have a wee look at the BBC match report of the dabbies game.

There's a picture of Durnan's sending off and the wee lad just to the right of the ref has been caught perfectly  - he should be very proud.

I think we should forget about this "Doon" obsession of our neighbours. If it happens, it happens. We have more to worry about. Like today, all the singing about being a new club did nothing for us but gee'd up our opponents. Nothing surer, if we sing this crap at the dump it will lift them, not us.

OCDee, I'm acknowledging (& trying to accept) that while we got basically humiliated today, the ither lot upped their game,

to come out the victors, playing awa fae hame, with ten men !!    But ither than that, I am no' quite ready to delve into any

further analysis, or read reports, listen to pundits/commentators/players/managers, comments of either of today's games.

And certainly no' intention of reading their slavering, over-the top comments, on their forum !!   (Making assumptions here)

But I doubt there will be too  much humility from them.   They may be already planning their Scottish Cup Winning Celebrations  :lol2:

Yeh guid luck wi' that then !!  By tomorrow I reckon my misery will have passed. & focus moved on to DFC getting back on track ;)
