Next Season

Recommended Posts

If offered right now, I'd take a tenth place league finish and a cup final (you don't get to know the outcome of the final with this offer) over a 6th place league finish and knocked out both the cups before the semis yet again.

Genuinely couldn't care less about top 6. Only do this season because it guarantees our safety but it's having a proper cup run where this club have failed for a decade that's the priority for me over a top 6 finish. Think the club agree too after Hartley and Nelms comments pre season.

Maybe next season :(

Do you know PRD. I think what's made yesterday so hard to swallow (other than the meek way we folded), is that we've been guilty as a support into buying into PH and Nelms stating the cups are a priority.

I know I for one was sitting on Friday wondering that if we got passed Rangers and maybe got in ICT in the semis, then maybe, just maybe.... Hence I was devastated yesterday in a way I never have been before in the cups (well not since Gretna...).

Personally I hope we shut our gobs about silverware next season and just go out and play games. Between Hartley and Nelms saying we want to win one and GGH noising up the great unwashed, do we need to fire up the likes of Rangers or Dunfermline any more than they already are?

Good teams do their talking on the park, not beforehand.
