Putting Harkins in centre midfield doesn't work as was seen when he was played deep earlier in season and he doesn't have the same effect on the game playing deeper. Harkins best position is behind Hemmings.

Stewart also isn't best played in that position, he is most effective coming from the right where he can pick the ball up in space and drift in field onto his left foot. Stewart has scored 9 and got 7 assists from there this season he just needs to improve the defensive side of his game.

Stewart is best suited of the striker - he doesnt help defensivly when played out wide.

Harkins wouldnt play if i had my ideal team

As id have 2 strong centre mids with 2 natural wingers
Harkins doesnt have the stamina to be a centre mid - Harkins best position is behind striker creating tho i think Stewart is a better player than Harkins.

Stewart wants to come inside all the time. Played just aff hemmings he'd do even better IMO.

Someone like kerr at RM would help mcginn out 100x more that Stewart ever will

No - I said I think we should play Stewart where Harkins is currently playing. Stewart offers next to zero defensively (not his fault, he's a striker) and our FB's are getting ripped most weeks. Kerr to RM would help.

Stewart will have the freedom to drift about if played behind Loy/Hemmings/Whoever -  without leaving a huge hole in front of McGinn

Sure I will shot down for this but I think that Stewart needs to be rested for a few games. Watched the game on Saturday to hear the commentator suggest he was our most dangerous player. Sometimes I think the hype is more than the performance. Looks less interested at times and his only trick is to come n from the right and shoot with us left foot. Block that run and he does not do much.
