Thought he was our best player today.

Completely agree

Last two games the minute he has gone off we have fallen out the games.

If he wasn't so injury prone a player of his quality would be no where near dfc.

Shocking choice of dayglo boots tho

I agree he was good today however if this latest injury turns into more missed matches, We should be seriously looking at trying to move him on. It was a gamble signing him and if he is out again, it will confirm it has been a gamble that has failed in my view. Cracking player but made of glass??

It was a calf injury that kept him out last time.. Fingers crossed it's not a bad one but far from ideal when only a couple of games into coming back from the first injury..

Class act, losing him and Zico taking boyle off cost us 3 points. Sooner we have gowser, Ggh and thommo in the same team, sooner we can bench jim mac.

Thomson and McGowan were big gambles based on there separate histories (injuries and off field probs)

There availability in coming weeks and months will decide if manager was correct to add them to wage bill or he should have looked elsewhere

Our current alternatives to these 2 will see us struggle to maintain current position.

I don't think I'm overstating Thomson's quality when I say on his day he is in the top 3 SPL midfielders when fit. Head and shoulders above most. Unfortunately his injury issues limit his availability.

Mcgowan on the other hand is ten a penny dirty shorts midfielder whom is easily replaced by someone less "problematic". Still admire his sentiments 😉😉
