What has happened to the colour red and our club ?

We no longer wear red socks, and haven't for a number of seasons,

The red has disappeared from our scarfs

None of the t-shirts, training tops, polo shirts, even the beach towel have any red in them,

I was brought up with our colours being blue, white and red, it was in our badge till a few seasons ago,

I know we haven't always had red in our kit, but I'd like to see it back next season.

Couldn't agree more.

Light Blue has been brought in for some reason.

Also think there is a place for our club crest as well. Despite what people think it is the original Dundee badge, being in existence since the 40's.

Vast majority of the 1980s and a quite a few times in the 00s off the top of my head.

Socks aside, had red somewhere inn our strips several times since the late 60s.

Just looked on historical kits site and looks like we wore red socks in 1952 - 1954 (2 seasons), 1973 (white top season - class), 1973 - 1976 (two seasons), 1976 - 1989 (nine seasons) then 2002 - 2003 (one season)

15 seasons out of 124 when the vast majority of the others was simple blue and white makes the blue and white the traditional and correct choice for me.

ETA - miscounted 1976 - 1989 but the point stands. No idea how I managed to forget all those red sock seasons either. Getting old I suppose.

Like a bit of red in the shirt. That light blue can get firmly to phuck.

As an aside saw at least 3 folk today wearing an orange polo, hoody or jacket in the Derry. Disgraceful lack of standards there
