No saying he`s a bad player by any means but dont think he`s at Celtic , Eng Championship level.

If he does leave then we`ve Kerr who can easily replace him at right back

Maybe an effort by his agent to drum up a bit more interest? It does seem pretty odd.

Suppose though that Charlie Mulgrew went to Celtic as a cheap free signing and didn't impress that much in a very poor (think they were near bottom) Aberdeen side but went in to be a key player for them and matured very well. Could just be them thinking he's a good trainer, very popular with coaching staff and also mega cheap in comparison to their other targets so it'd be a harmless gamble.

Got a feeling he'll end up at an English League Two side or something. I think he wants to leave (John didn't come here and Stephen was off in a shot). Thistle's promising young right back, Stephen O'Donnell, left last season and everyone was expecting him to go to the English Championship or League One at the lowest and he ended up joining Luton in League Two. Money is probably still better than us down there.

I don't believe for a minute that Celtic are going to make a move for McGinn. His defending and crossing aren't exactly Champions League standard.

Didn't he say he wants to move back down south, sure it was the Manchester area, to be nearer his family?? Heard he also said he'd stay at Aberdeen if they win the league so he can have a crack at the Champions League with them.
