Sunday

If we don't turn up on Sunday and put in a patheitc performance like at Ibrox, who's to blame?

Surely we will be pumped up for this and won't let them settle?

I have the fear that they will be right up for it like they were against Killie and will destroy us before we have a chance.

Got an awful feeling about this as we don't seem to have the "fight" in us to come flying out the traps in the big games, especially against that lot.

Another right pessimistic thread

Each to their own but I don't get it either, fair enough The Rangers put us in a headlock but the Hearts game was pretty close and we could have got something from it quite easily. It doesn't seem that long ago that folk were all over the threads gloating about how crap United were, Whats changed ????

Bit off topic but looking at Saturday's fixtures things could be very good come 5pm or very awkward. 4 of the 5 games have top v bottom. We have to do our job properly on Sunday.

Yeah Saturday's results matter just as much as our result in terms of top six and relegation.

If Killie somehow beat Celtic I can see the sticklebrick being like a morgue on Sunday.

I looked as this as well, if we can find the bottle to beat UTD there's a good chance we'll be back in the top 6.

Start well and I'll be confident that we'll grow into it and punish them, but they'll be looking to get at us right from the start given our recent poor starts which ended in first half onslaughts

13 seconds against Rangers and would have conceded within a minute against Hearts if Jamie Walker didnt miss a sitter

I don't think the Arabs are feeling any different about their prospects either.

For them, it's perhaps a crucial point in determining if they really do have an outside chance of catching 1 or 2 teams:

A win, and they're within reach of the 10th/11th teams.

A defeat, especially in a home derby, could kill their belief that it's possible.  :)

For us, a win could set us up to finish 6th or better, and a post-split set of games where Hartley can look to build on how we finished last season.

A draw probably doesn't help either club too much, but worse for them than us, I suspect.
