Falkirk

Well done to the Bairns. 2-0 down after nine minutes and they beat Rangers with an injury-time winner. Amazing what a bit of belief can do. That Falkirk team was totally outclassed at Dens and yet they've beaten a strong Rangers team twice.

Still say we contributed hugely to our thrashing with our captain's stupid remarks. It didn't do us any *** but totally fired up the players and the crowd. They've never played like that before or since this season. Even in games they've ended up winning they've struggled until late in the game. 15 seconds !! Still raging at great opportunity we fe@ked up.

A bit more to do with us defending like pr**ks from the kick off and conceding a goal in 13 seconds imo.

I can understand the pain & frustration being felt after our result against Rangers. But eventually these games have got to be put behind us. And in that process hope we have learned something from that defeat.

The main thing for me about Falkirk's victory last night was not to make a negative comparison about their performance over ours, but to remind ourselves, DFC/ Manager/ Players, (all players of any club) what can be achieved if the will, belief & determination is there. To be down 2-0 with 15 mins to go and win 3-2, deserves tall the praise & plaudits, bestowed on P. Houston & his fighting players.

My main focus at this time (like all of us here) is on the Sunday game against oor neighbours, who I believe, in their desperation for points to survive, will be well fired up. If we can match them  in this area, we do have more than a good enough  team of players to put them to the sword. Our defence is still no' great yet, but in my mind it has improved from what was a reall shaky looking bunch of players a month or two back. We all know what our forwards are capable of. Now is the time for all of them to hit their form again.

They were pumped up because it was a quarter final at home against a premier league side, as they walked out onto the park i dont think any of them were thinking about what Harkins said.

They then got their goal after 13 seconds, got their tails up and pressed us hard, with the crowd understandably roaring them on, and we couldn't handle it, we were shell shocked for the rest of the game.

Agreed we need to move on, so I won't say anymore

Good spot, now if we stop players saying anything to the press (maybe managers too, just in case) then we shouldn't lose another game.
