Good shout, I didn't think Holt was that bad but aye, all pelters will e heading Bain's way I suspect. Another positive is our neighbours are running out of games. :-)

An unfortunate "rush of blood" decision by Bain, who'd looked totally comfortable all game....also going in feet-first probably made it look worse. I'm still unconvinced about it justifying a red, and even Barry Robson said that was far too harsh, McKay was going away from goal at speed & knocked the ball a fair bit forward. There were 2 defenders heading for the goal. 

Re "them", even if they beat killie & catch them, the'd need 13 points from 8 games to catch Hamilton, plus however many points Hamilton manage to get.

I thought he did fine until those lase seconds when he should have taken the player down nearer the half way line rather than outside the box.  All worked out fine in the end though. Just.

I don't think we were at our best today, even with 11 men, but there's no doubt we're the top team in the city these days. 

Leaving that ground disappointed with a draw is infinitely better than going there and getting humped.

agreed, 11v11 we were cruising, we're cursed in these derbys, not much seems to go our way

10 men for 40+ minutes probably means it's a great point but we would've pumped them with 11 men even if McKay scored and Bain didn't pull him down.

McGinn, McGowan and Mitchell were very good for us. The keeper must've been a bag of nerves when he came on.

Edited to say. I thought before the game that the filth might catch 2nd bottom because going by the papers and media they'd turned the corner so to say. However having watched them they are sh**e. Easily the worst team in the league with no one that's going to open you up in general play.

Thought Mitchell looked good had some great saves. 9 times out of 10 a goalie coming out through a crowd of players like that the ref blows.
