Hemmings is the finest goalscorer we've had in many years but I think we'd have picked up results without him. Loy would have scored more if played up top all season and we managed ok last season without a proper finisher.

I disagree that Loy would have scored more if he were up top all season. He done well early in the season and I rate him, but Hemmings is a deadly striker.

A lot of his goals come from his natural instincts and he is always in the right place at the right time.

Loy doesn't have that.

To say we'd be in relegation trouble without Hemmings is like saying Celtic wouldn't be top of the league without Griffiths.

If you have a top class finisher you play to that strength and set the team up to provide him with service. If you don't have that kind of player you set your team up differently.

We don't know where we'd be in the table without Hemmings but I'm pretty confident we'd be doing ok as Hartley would have found a way to get goals just like he did last season when Tankulic was struggling.

loy is a good player, but hemmings on fire at the moment! i still think loy would

Ironically, Hemmings got a lot more stick in the first half of this season than Tankulic did in the first half of last season. Up until the Hamilton game just before Christmas a lot of folk were saying they didn't rate Hemmings.
