The manager can't sign a player unless he gets approval from the board though.The money spent is the wages set aside for these players wages.

All in all a good day for the board, manager, team and fans.

We've had boards for years who didn't, so aye 😂

Because we've been starved of common sense in the boardroom for generations. Time and again we have made sentimental managerial appointments by bringing in former Dees, or even worse, guys with little or no experience. This time we brought in a young, up and coming manager with an impressive CV.

Also we have enjoyed a refreshing period of stability. No in-fighting, no nasty surprises, no disappearing acts, no financial crises, no bizarre decision-making.

We don't know what the future holds but for now we have a steady ship. We have continuity with coaching and playing staff and for once we're an established top tier club that is able to attract quality players without overspending.
