The chance for any other team to win the league has been while Rangers were down the divisions.

Would love it see it, but trips to Castle Grayskull will once again become a place where you are simply hoping to leave with a bit of pride intact and even if Celtic are running away with the league, Rangers taking points off other teams all over the shop will only help them.

We can see some success at Dens in the next few years but I think that it'll be dependant on where PH see's his future. If he see's his short to mid term future here then I can see us doing well. Continuity and further investment are key areas. I really don't see any other reasonable candidates out there who can take us forward if PH decided to move on.

Winning the league though would be a tough ask and a pretty unreasonable expectation. Mid table security, pushing for 4th/5th, European qualification and a Cup win are all within our capabilities during the next period if the key areas of the jigsaw fall into place.

No other club in Scotland apart from the old firm will ever win the league again.

Given how close Aberdeen are this season, I'd say it's not beyond the realms of possibility that someone other than the Old Firm will win the title. That said, it would require both of them to underperform at the same time which is unlikely.

How many teams have won the top league in England in the past 50 years? In Scotland?

And for Leicester to win, they needed at least 5 top teams to underperform over the season ;(City/Utd/Chelsea/Liverpool/Arsenal) - won't happen often.

As an aside...I think Spurs will pip them to the post.

Pretty much as I see it too Rev, if we can become a consistent top 6 team with the occasional bit of silverware and European adventure that will be as good as it gets. To be honest I'd give my right nut for that right now.
