Celtic looked pretty fragile against Hearts on Saturday until they nicked their second.

Aberdeen put a bit of pressure on them today so we may be able to use that to our advantage and get after them right from the start? They will know how much of a threat we can be, hopefully they don't resort to the sort of sneaky dirty fouls we have seen at Dens before.

Being a pussy about it there's our goal difference to worry about. Sod it I'm all for going for it on tuesday night, we'll gain nothing by Celtic's punch bags so I'd hate to see us line up defensively. Not that I think PH will, sometimes I've had the fear when I've seen the team sheet but the players seem to be growing into their roles (and our expectations) so feck it, last saturdays line up with Bain back in and whatever CB combination he can string together. I can't wait to see O'Dea with a batman mask for his broken nose.

We have got to play to our strengths regardless of who we play and that means we don't sit in and soak up pressure. What we don't need is players to freeze on the night. Everyone needs to play their normal game. This game is a free hit for me and we should have a go at them.

I imagine Hartley probably always says to the players to have a go at Celtic. The problem is that they've got good players and can dictate the game if they play well.

The most important thing is we have belief. If we believe we can get a result, we get in their faces and upset their rhythm, we've got a chance.

The opening period is crucial. If we're nervy and concede early, it's going to be a long night. If we start well, they'll feel a bit of pressure as the game wears on and it'll become easier to nick a point.

To beat Celtic you need everyone to be on top form, a majority of their players to have an off night and officials that are fair in their decisions with the balls to make the big calls.

It's extremely rare to get all 3.

This game should be budgeted for 0 points so lets go at them and see what we can muster. Same team with Bain in for Mitchell.

Like all managers PH doesn't always get it right. And as much as I like him, I've also had my moments of doubt.

I've enough faith in him tho' (especially after Sat) to believe his plans towards how to deal with Celtic will be right.
