Said to my young lad during the game that you can see the confidence oozing from young Cammy, nothing seems to faze him, doesn't get over-awed by name or reputation of the guys he's facing. We have a class act on our hands here.

I actually thought Tierney caused Cammy a few problems in the first half. Kerr coped well with Mackey Stevens (who looks a shadow of the boy who ripped us apart 16 months ago) but I thought Tierney caused him more trouble

It wasn't Cammy's best game going forward, probably down to the opposition but his work-rate, willingness to get on the ball and covering defensive duties were superb. He even gave Grieg Stewart a telling off at one point in the first half for not helping out defensively.

Comments from the Tully shows he's totally grounded and proud as punch.

He said: “When the manager tells me I’m playing, I just try to do a job for the team and that’s all I look forward to.

“If I play, I play. If I don’t, I just keep working away in training and see where it takes me.â€

And, when asked about the Dens faithful singing ‘He’s one of our own’ to him, Cammy responds: “Yeah, I enjoy it. I don’t really expect it but it’s all right,†he says with a sly grin.

Kerr’s driving runs down the right wing have become a big part of the way Dundee have played over the past few weeks and the wing-back role in the 3-5-2 formation he’s been used in recently suits him down to the ground.

He added: “Wing-back gives me licence to get up and down all day and I think that’s what one of my best traits is — buzzing about, getting in people’s faces, up and down the pitch so, yeah, I enjoy it.â€

He's only played a handful of game but done amazingly well against so called half top quality. In the last game Armstrong was hooked at half time to be replaced by Forrest, who did no better. Last night he did very well against Teirney and GMS. Top lad.
