I hope he does surprise a few folk next season. He didn't play a lot of games for Aberdeen because he had alot of injury problems. Secondly, he has been here for just about one season and nobody has had much of a chance to judge him.

So, are you suggesting we might require the three year contract he was given to judge him.

What I meant was it's too early to judge him a failure. He's here for the three years so we need to give him a chance next season. With a few months injury-free we might get to see the player Hartley thought he was signing.

Mcgowan is the exact same type of player and he starts afore Low.

I understand some signings wont work

I understand PH giving longer deals to Bain,Meggatt,Holt,Mcginns as if they step up then we`ve got a prospect who can be sold for a fee if they dont step up then no real harm done as they wont be on big money,  but 3 years deals on Low who adds nothing we dont already have and has previous for injuries is a bonkers signing - same applies to Arturo - these are just wasting money.

but signings like Low / Arturo have no sense to them as we can all see we have a better player in Mcgowan than Low - if PH wanted another Centre mid why not a different type of player to what we all already have.
