If you're referring to the updates done on the official, he came off them quite a while back. I agree though, not as good as they used to be, not sure how much fault that is of the guy doing it now though, as if I'm honest, I'd end up getting too absorbed into the game too.

If you're on about Super Tommy Coyne, then that's just sacrilege!

..........is often abused when describing futba players but not as much as the word "super" when it's followed by the name Tommy.Watching paint dry would be more exciting.Zzzzzzzz

Perhaps, before having a public go at someone who's not involved, or even the guys who are, you might think a bit about asking what the cause of the problem is first.

It's been frequently reported on the commentary, and on Mad, that certain clubs have atrocious, almost non-existent, broadband service, which significantly degrades the service from their ground, and the commentary/match report is often provided via an even worse wireless connection.

However, apparently the main issue with the DFC commentary service is the inadequate quality of servers that our Club uses. This has been reported to the Club Board several times, by the guys involved, but the Board has chosen not to do anything about it (yet). Whether the Board just don't understand the issue, or don't think it's worth spending any money on upgrading a service to the fans, is anyone's guess.

However, given they're presumably hoping to increase the uptake of services such as the PPV on DFCTV, there's only one way to do it, and it involves a wee bit of investment.

They could also try asking DFCSS to fund this, but given the way the Club board whipped the PPV rug out from under the Society & wrecked the "Exile" packages (which had to be refunded), perhaps that's unlikely?

I wouldn't be surprised if the current commentary-writer posted on this topic once he gets home from his regular trips to spend his weekend working at no cost for DFC.

Unfortunately i'm not as informed as you seem to be regarding the cost effectiveness of a server upgrade or even that a server issue existed in the first place.10 minutes between updates seems an affy lang time to me,especially when Radio Scotland & Jeff Stelling have reported most of what's so late on the Official.DFC TV seem to be having a mair ana!

Out of order having a dig at folk offering their time for DFC. Just my opinion. We're better than that.

I thought he was on the payroll now. for the record his commitment as a volunteer was commendable
