The Dark Blue Player Sponsorship 2016/17

The Dark Blues player sponsorship is now about to kick in.  We intend on raising cash for three Dundee Football club players before the start of the season and we would really like your help in achieving this in what would be our first time ever in helping the club we all love.
 
So far we have raised over £250 without even trying. We would like to push this further and raise our total goal of £640 and we are more than sure that we can go on and reach our goals with your help!
 
Sponsorship helps the club in many ways, most importantly your donation will help go towards future players and we can name a few like Neill McCann, Lee Wilkie and Gavin Rae to name a few that have come through the Dark Blue ranks, and we want to ensure that we help continue this in the future.

• First Team Player Sponsorship: £375
• Youth Team Player Sponsorship: £165
• Academy Player Sponsorship: £100

How to Donate

There are a few methods you can choose to donate towards player sponsorship 2015/16.

• PayPal: This is probably the easiest and secure method for you to donate your cash.
• Credit Card: You can choose to pay via your credit card and this can be done with Pay Pal.
• Collection and Collection Points: You can choose to use our collection service, we will do this free of charge for you. That way you can donate strictly with cash and not have to worry about bank charges etc.

Please choose a category to donate:

• First Team Player Sponsorship
• Youth Team Player Sponsorship
• Academy Player Sponsorship

The above options will incur a small fee, we suggest that you use the 'Friends and Family' option when donating to us and this eliminates this. You can do this easily by following:

1. Logging into your PayPal account.
2. Select the 'Pay or send money' icon/link by clicking on it.
3. Select the 'Send money to friends and family' option.
4. Enter our email address 'paypal@thedarkblues.co.uk' and the amount you wish to donate.

Collection Places:

• Derry Drummer {by dropping him a private message) in Dundee: Please Contact Derry Drummer regarding this.
• Contact 'Chomp the Root' or 'The Dark Blues' by private message and we sort out a collection time for you. You must be local to Dundee for a pickup. If you wish to send your donation via recorded delivery, then please contact myself directly via PM to obtain an address to send your donation too.

Please Note: If you use the collection or drop off point then you must do the following please:

• Place your donation into an envelope.
• Inside the envelope you must place the following information: Your name, address, contact number, donation amount. Which donation option you are donating too (1, 2 or 3) and lastly, the username that you use on this forum.
• If you use a drop off point: Please message us and let us know you are doing this please.

Sponsor Players Named
 
The quicker we can raise our objectives, then the quicker we can find out which players are available in each category. When we know this information we will then put the player names into a poll and vote on the players you would like The Dark Blues to sponsor. I think this is probably the fairest of all the options we could have chosen.

Who gets the Goodies?
 
This has been brought up and mentioned in the forum and is a valid point. We will hold at a raffle to determine who will win the Season ticket or framed jersey signed and the invite to annual sponsors event.
 
For each £10 donated by you will give you a ticket into the raffle, the more you donate the more chances you will win. For example: if you donate £20, you will have 4 chances to win.

• £50:  Tickets 12
• £60:  Tickets 14
• £70:  Tickets 16
• £80:  Tickets 18
• £90:  Tickets 20
• £100+  Tickets 25

 The only thing that we ask is that The Dark Blues gets the "website accreditation" and nothing more.

Closing Date
 
As of yet there is no closing date to this event. However, this will change once we get more information from the club as to when we can submit our donations.

If you mean getting 12 for £50 and so on, up to £100, it's not wrong - It's a bonus.
