Daryll Meggatt leaves Dundee

Recommended Posts

Defender Daryll Meggatt has left Dundee, the club has announced.

The 25-year-old now looks set to join Ian McCall’s Ayr United in the Championship.

Meggatt was brought to Dens Park last summer from Alloa by former Wasps gaffer Paul Hartley.

The utility player’s time at Dundee was hampered though through injury.

He made six appearances for the Dark Blues, but it has been confirmed today that he has left the club.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Dundee Football Club can confirm that Daryll Meggatt has left the club by mutual consent.

“Daryll signed for the club last summer and leaves after making six appearances for club.

“We would like to thank Daryll for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.”
