The new format of the league cup for this. Everyone knew the season would start this early, and there's far too much fuss been made by Hartley about chasing a cup run this year. This isn't just a pre-season thing where we can give boys a run out to get them fitness for the new season, this is competitive football and we need to be looking to win every game in this group. The performances has been unacceptable, and this "it's basically still pre-season" chat coming from  several corners isn't good enough.
