seemingly been offered a new contract worth 3k a week till 2018 and is said to be seriously considering it, plus dundee have also enquired about allan and higdon and awaiting responses, as for hemmings he totally screwed the club over despite promising hartley he would see the season out. news on harkins is that ayr want him dundee offered him a golden handshake of 25k to go but he refused.

OK, If true about Stewart, then they must be using the fee from Hemmings to keep him here. 3k will make him the highest-paid player at the club, not even sure that Thomson was on those wages. Let's hope that he resigns.

I would take Allan, but not Higdon, as Higdon is too old and hasn't really set the heather on fire scoring goals recently.

The problem with Hemmings is, this is football, there is no real loyalty and you really can't blame Hemmings for wanting to be closer to home and his family (I know how that feels). I don't think he purposely went out his way, there came along an opportunity for him and it was too good to refuse.

I don't know the truth as to why this Harkins/Hartley thing kicked off, heard a lot of stories and rumours and For Hartley to want rid of Harkins after the relationship they pruportley had, could only mean that something bad happened between them. I don't think PH would go out his way to get rid of one our bets players, would he? The truth will come out sooner or later, and I don't believe for one second that PH would get rid just because Harkins decided to have a couple of pints, surely not?

I can't see Harkins going to Ayr, I think he is just too good for the Championship for a start and I wouldn't blame him for not accepting the golden handshake either.

So Hemmings screwed the club over despite the club agreeing to a clause in his contract? And it's also Harkins fault Hemmings left? And he's a Billy big baws as well?

Higdon and Allen? You do know mate that everything on Twitter isn't true and is just made up sh*t?

However if throw enough sh*t some of it will stick and come true.

The guy has posted what he's heard, that happens all the time.

You've taken what he's posted and twisted his words to suit your viewpoint, you could have just posted that you didn't believe it.

Who deserves the tangy here?.<_<

Higdon was booed for both st mirren and Motherwell fans nearly every season apart from his wonder one.

I seem to recall an article where he was justifying his game agreeing that if he didn't put the ball in the net then he contributed f all.

I'm sure he went onto say that all through growing up his dad used to go nuts at him saying to work harder but that just wasn't his game.

I believe he would infuriate our support and even more so no now with him getting on a bit.

He's a big no from me.

He's a very poor mans kris Boyd in my eyes and I don't rate Boyd either.

Wouldn't want Higdon but if he's who comes in then fair enough. I think there's other players out there who would suit our needs better. I'd probably take O'fere over Higdon.

John ..... "The problem with Hemmings is, this is football, there is no real loyalty and you really can't blame Hemmings ....."   You went awa & spoiled it,

by adding.... "wanting to be closer to home and his family"..... It's mair than a reasonable point to make. But eh wis jist startin tae feel better aboot

the whole situation aroond his departure, by puttin' mair & mair  blame on tae him ( eg. greedy, money, grabbin' git) And now eh feel it's no justified :lol2:

Definitely do not want to lose Stewart ....but the idea of using Hemmings transfer money to pay Stewart 3K per week, disnae sit too comfortably wi' me.

Ultimately, I do believe the buck stops at the managers door. And maybe the incident(s) justified the action taken. But in some ways,I feel it could/should,

have been handled much better (more professionally)    Whatever else happens in the transfer market (the ins or the oots) it's time now for the players we

have at this time, to step up to the plate. Start pulling their weight, both on & off the park. And prove to PH, to us, to themselves just what they can do :)

While blame is getting thrown around DFC/BOD/PH, the players themselves, also must take some responsibility. Let's start today Lads. Mon the DEE

You absolutely can blame Hemmings. He said one thing to the press a few weeks ago and to hartley by the sounds of it whilst no doubt instructing his agent to sort out something else. F*** him if that is the case. Hope he scores hee haw this year!

A Dee employee I spoke to on Thurs (I posted this on anther thread) said our hands were tied as Kane's agent had been touting him to clubs down south for weeks, I would imagine on Kane's instruction.

Absolutely. Kane never screwed anyone over, he done us a fantastic turn. He took a wage drop to come here, scored 25 goals. Made the club over quarter of a million. It's his right to exercise the clause to allow him to move closer to his family and treble his income, anybody claiming they wouldn't do the same are absolute balloons.
