Tin hat on. I know Liam Kennedy isn't exactly flavour of the month on here - and his "analysis" of Gowser's thoughts on our current squad simply echo what Gowser has said. However it's more what is said in the first place that's of interest...

That's the first time I have read that. And frankly I do not like at all, LK's own interpretaion, of what Gowser says.

Paul McGowan's reasonable points stand fine on their own, withoot Kennedy, thinking he can make them better.

I was personally angered (like others it seems) by Kennedy's opening rubbish statement & then in a convoluted

style, trying to make this connection, to what are simply honest comments by Mc Gowan.

I read on another post that it might be the case DFC are quite happy with Kennedy's comments/reporting....REALLY?

what worries me about these comments is that if players in our squad are commenting on the issues we have why has the Manager not addressed them!

Fingers crossed the players to fix the issues are in the pipeline.

As has been said, I wouldn't take the quotes at face value, Kennedy is in the business of selling papers, so the better spin he can put on things the better as far as he's concerned. If that means printing an article that Dundee fans will agree with, (confirmation bias I think its called) then that's what he'll do. I know we're all desperate for intel, I don't think the papers are much better than the taxi drivers granny's dug who has a mole at Dens to be honest. I'm not saying he's malicious but we're not his main concern, he's looking to capitalise on our DFC obsession for his livelihood.

At least he quoted Gowser and we can make up our own minds about what was actually said.. Seems to me that there is nothing new in the article, at least if you are a regular user of this forum. It is absolutely fatuous to think that PH is unaware of these areas of concern but we can't throw money at the problem. .
