I heard Harkins, O'Dea and Hemmings got caught drinking in Austria and each of them slapped with £100 fine. O'Dea paid his no problem, however Harkins told Hartley to f**k off and slagged off the new players, whilst Hemmings just refused to pay fine.

This come from a current employee at the club.

Would make sense regarding the drinking thing.

If true then they are amateurs not pros - it was well publicised there was to be no alcohol - athletes?  <y ar** as Jim Royle would say - -what a small sacrifice to make when the club is spending thousands to take you there for prep and help you improve in your chosen career.

Petulant and very unprofessional if true.

A current employee will certainly know more than us but what's to stop an employee who dislikes Harkins from making something up (or twisting events) to damage his reputation? Still hearsay as far as I'm concerned and there's always two sides to any story.

Let's face it, if you worked at the club and were a pal of Harkins you wouldn't tell people that he was a dick in Austria.

If this is true then Harkins shouldn't be training with the youths either. One of the coaches should have him training on his own until he leaves.

No one is bigger than the club, including Hartley, but to show as little respect to the club, the rest of your team mates and the manger is a disgrace.
