Am I The Only One That Isn't Concerned About Losing Hemmings And Stewart??

Recommended Posts

I have been reading on twitter, facepuke and other places about the doom and gloom with losing Hemmings and Stewart. Yes I agree that losing Harkins, Hemmings and Stewart will be a big blow, I honestly think that we will be alright moving forward and I am not overly concerned about the season ahead.

PH does have a good eye for a player and has already brought in a few players this season who I think will do the job for us. The likes of Williams, O'Hara, Duffy and Vincent look to be fitting in well and will go on to surprise a lot of the Dee faithful. I think that Fas and Yordi will be fighting for first team spots and there are goals there.

I'm not concerned for the future and I see this as another chapter in us moving forward. Players will come and go, that's just football.

Nope, I'm with you on this. I'll admit that I was a bit worried as all the uncertainty unraveled over our League Cup shambles but I think we looked as comfortable as we have ever been against Ross County as well as breaking our Highland duck. El Bak will hopefully offer something exciting and it will be interesting to see how Yordi will develop. Disappointment of the LC aside, I'm excited about this season.

I was more shocked and angry at Kane leaving, especially as it came out of the blue and for how little he left for.

Always expected Stewart to leave and I'm actually glad that it's coming to an end soon as this uncertainty is not good for the club.

Wasn't that bothered about Harkins as I think we be fine without him.

I reckon Dingwall was just a taste of what's to come post Stewart/Hemmings/Harkins. PH no longer has to accommodate individuals and can build a proper team unit, setting up to their strengths.

I've always felt that the sheer talent we had up front kinda forced the gaffer's hand a bit into going out with the "you score 3, we'll score 4" attitude. Now he can do things his way without feeling he has to play the brilliant individuals.

Agree with this.

I agree, I think Hartley and the team are more than capable of adapting to the change. I actually think it will lead to a more settled team and formation which could give a few of our players more confidence.
