2016/17 Loan Watch

Recommended Posts

Josh Skelly is the first player to go out on loan and returns to Arbroath where he made 14 appearances last season.

Would imagine Dryden, Allan, Colquhoun, Curran and Black will go out too.

Progress

Name   Position   Date of Birth   Age   Club   Expiry   Appearances   Minutes   % Potential Game Time   Goals
Josh Skelly   Forward   11/4/97   19   Arbroath   January   1(1)   100   55.56%   1
Liam Gibb   Defender   20/8/98   18   Carnoustie   Season   N/A   N/A   N/A   N/A

-As of 26th August.

*Josh Skelly did not feature in one match as he was cup-tied in the Challenge Cup after featuring for our development side against Cove. These minutes are not added to his potential total.

Good win for Arborath yesterday with young Josh Skelly scoring and playing very well according to some comments from the home fans

"Skelly MOTM for me"

"Skelly and Bobby Linn were outstanding"

"Skelly the best player on the park"

"Got to feel sorry for Bobby today. Scores a fine Hat trick and still doesn't get man of the match. Skelly deserved it"

"Skelly and Bobby both tied for my man of the match."

Just watched Josh Skelly playing for Arbroath against Montrose. Put in a good shift and some of his deliveries into the box were excellent. Hope the young lad gets a renewed contract at Dens in the summer.

Heard good things about his general attitude from a few connected to the lichties this season. Just read that he has had his loan extended until the end of the season also.

Forgot about this thread. Gourlay saved a penalty yesterday (6:25 in) and is receiving plenty of praise. Waddell had a bit of a nightmare with the first goal but paid a part in the winning goal with a nice knockdown (the attack after the penalty).
