Ambivalent.

Smaller countries have been marginalised over the past few years anyway that the new proposals are just confirming what we knew already. That the CL's sole purpose is to generate money for the clubs in the big 4 nations.

Would be good if the buggered off from the Europa League, so the clubs from the "diddy nations" have a better chance of a Euro run, albeit at a lower level.

Be interesting to see how clubs like Ajax, Sporting Lisbon, Celtic, Kiev etc react as these are clubs with most to lose

If Rangers and / or Celtic were leaving us, I suppose I'd be up for it. Can't see them being invited though. Possibly Celtic.

The Champions League and the English Premier League in particular honestly dont interest me in the slightest.

I'm with Weighorst'sWang (fixed that for ya!) on this one.

The attraction of a Euro super league is mostly felt at a global level (Asia, USA etc) and would have little impact on the domestic game where it would be viewed a little like the WWE is to wrestling (ie clearly related to the ancient sport but only in the way that a Tyrannosaurus Rex is related to a Hedge Sparrow.)

I think they would invite Celtic and Rangers to join such a league simply because of their international drawing power. They would be foolish not to, in fact.

With them gone, we could reboot Scottish Football. The grotesque imbalance between the resources of the two uglies and the other Scottish clubs has been depleting the sport in this country for too long. The sycophantic panderings of the governing bodies has been a national embarrassment. With all that swept away, we stand a chance of entering a new phase of the game in Scotland and hopefully develop a decent international team in the process.

I'd be happy to start a fund to pay for their bus fare to the first meeting........

And the novelty would soon wear off for the two cheeks glory-hunters when they found themselves mid-table and getting a regular humping from the bigger teams.  We'd then get the call for "colts" teams in the SPFL.  Aye, that will be right.

Not a huge advocate of "super leagues" but I couldn't care less if the old firm left. I cannot see it happening to be honest  though. I'm pretty sure that if it was to be given the go ahead it would have a massive global audience which would further inflate the financial bubble in which the elite teams operate.

Havent watched champions league for quite a few seasons now unless the odd all English tie as quite frankly I'm sick of it and it's lost its appeal to me. I'm not one of these people who watch any football match, unless it's the Dees I'm not really all that bothered (even watching Scotland hasn't got much of my attention recently)

NFL, NHL, NBA etc are all closed shop leagues. Attendances are through the roof.

Implementing the same set up Europe wide would be a massive draw for the biggest clubs.

Let them leave their domestic set ups and be super clubs. I've no problem with it whatsoever.

I think we were told that Scottish football couldn't survive without one ar$e cheek let alone them both going, so I'm sure they would both want to stay for the greater good of the game in Scotland.....

I am against any reorganisation that will take the old firm or at least Celtic and The Rangers out of scottish football. We would be in a black hole of funding and the standard of football which is not great just now would plummet as we could not afford the players we now have. The league would be competitive i am sure but you can have two numpties playing any game and it can be competitive. I fear we dream of the better world without the old firm when in fact it would become a nightmare with us ending up just glorified juniors as income would be sucked out of the game to cover the super league or whatever it would be called.

Exactly this. I really couldn't care less. No interest in Champions/Runners Up/3rd place/4th place League and haven't watched a single game from it for years. Celtic and Rangers leaving (not that either would get invited) would at least make it a real league for the first time in a few decades.

I totally get where you're coming from mate. However where would the payers go that are currently playing in Scotland? They're not needed down south and can't all play for Celtic & Rangers and the other European clubs would find themselves in the same boat. So the players could choose to kick a ball round a field for a reasonable sum of money, or get a real job.

I'm not really that convinced that what we have now isn't glorified juniors...
