Not sure how we are to measure 'success'. Since the window opened we have secured O'Hara, ElBak and Gomis all as free signings, we received three quarters of a million quid for 2 players we signed for free and we have been controlled with our budget by not paying over the odds to outbid competitors for unproven or mediocre players on the final day of the window. With this kind of spin, it can sound like pretty good business.

Or we could look back at the managers statement of where we need to strengthen, see that we have not strengthened those positions and see it as a failure to address known problems.

think the only problem left is a CF. Proper CB signed, and a change in the way that Holt and Kerr are supported in their defensive roles might have fixed the complaints about our defence, early days I know.

Used this as the basis for his article in the ET which was again having a go at the club. Disappointed to read stuff like this.

Folk thought Nade was a joke signing and they also thought Tankulic was a masterstroke. We simply don't know if Hartley's had a successful transfer window yet. In 2/3 months we'll be in a better position to make a judgement but even then that might be too soon as Nick Ross showed last season.

Dondeh, if you want the same question on here then it probably makes sense to add a poll to this thread. There's really nothing to it.

You just hit Edit on your opening post. then hit Poll next to Content then add the question and answer options then save it.
