Back three supported by Kerr and Holt on the wings.

One of O'Hara and Gowser to sit when required and the other to go forward. Wighton to provide the creative through balls and two strikers. Loy to finish and El Bak to provide chances and also contribute with goals.

I'm not sure Williams, Vincent etc are good enough. Duffy and Ross are good options from the bench.

I know what you mean re a back 4. But Kerr and Holt can cover that sitting a bit higher up. Also the extra centre back can cover too if required. Gives us solidity in the centre of defence. Also defensive strength and attacking options in midfield. O'hara could get up and support. Wighton has the ability to see a pass and also score, sitting back in the hole. I think Loy and El Bak would work well up front. Two completely different styles but complementary. Loy needs support and El Bak isn't an out and out striker. Team has a bit of width too. Strong defence and attack.

Did we not try that type of formation against hamilton and  jules ended up getting ripped because cammy was pushing too far forward and the space they had was unbelievable!

We've signed Gomis for a reason, that being Jules is just not good enough, the manager sees it, time for a few fans to see it, has to be a back four for me, and I'd have the Bulgarian on the bench before Jules.

Cammy would have to drop back a bit. Hartley had him playing far too high.

Alternatively julen could go a bit wider as he was playing awfy narrow vs accies.

I think part of our problem is hartley trying to be to smart with his formations flat back 4 for me and alternate between 3-3 in front and 4-2

Not the way it looked at the game then as Cammy was more or less playing on the right wing.

Yes that also looks good but I would have Wighton in behind that front two, instead of Williams. I think CW has the ability to be the new Harkins. And better too as he is younger, fitter and is better at tackling, tracking back.

My biggest concern with our midfielders and forwards is we have virtually no physical presence. We all know there are sides in this league who rely on thier physicality and I just think we will be bullied by these sides again.
