Dundee set to tie up Tom Hateley deal

Recommended Posts

Dundee are set to complete the signing of Tom Hateley.

The club’s protracted hunt to capture the 26-year-old, who was released by Polish outfit Slask Wroclaw this summer, looks to be over, with the ex-Motherwell, Tranmere and Reading man set to pen a deal today.

Hateley is expected at Dens Park for a medical, and should that go without any hitches, the midfielder, who can also play right-back, will sign what is expected to be a two-year contract.

The Dark Blues look to have beaten a host of clubs north and south of the border to his signature.

Could this signing mean make or break for Rory?

IE, if Hateley does what he should do, then the service is there... but the goals don't follow...

(Obviously hoping it's the MAKING of RL!)  :)

I still get the feeling that we will sign another striker as I look at Yordi and El Bak as players for the future and we need someone with experience up top now.
