anything less than 12pts and we'd seriously have to re-think building a new stadium.

it's like you're looking for an argument WW.

I don't think it was outrageous that some folk were thinking that today was the sort of game that would make a big difference to our season if we could win it, but to take that to extreme's and post about in every thread? Really?

As you said, you don't think it was outrageous. I do. That's opinions. Was it not only the other week you were having a go at me for doing exactly the same thing as you are doing here?

Tad hypocritical, don't you think?

Errrm. No. Can't say I agree with much of what you've posted there but that's hardly shock of the year.

I think if we want to have a strong season we do need to start winning games like today, or we're going to struggle. That's all folk were saying. If that's outrageous, then you've led a sheltered life as a Dee.

You've been in full nitpick mode today mate, so I'll leave it there. Life's too short to go round and round and I know you will. :cheekkiss:

We do need to start winning games but that doesn't exactly compare to 'can't afford to lose', 'this'll effect season ticket sales' or 'Kilmarnock will pull away from us'. That's all I've picked up on. Club designated forums always bring out the more passionate fans who, in eagerness to see the team do well perhaps show too much and get slightly carried away. We all want the same things at the end of the day but if I see things posted which (IMO) are over dramatic in the extreme I think I'm quite entitled to question the grounds on which the statements are made.

You're right though, life is too short and I do drone on a bit with points, but I'm off the bevy and full of Dr Pepper so this is probably the worst that could happen. :P

Boys being a bit light hearted and having a laugh when others are trying to create a doomsday scenario. I agree with him in that things are not nearly, at this stage, as bad as they are being painted. We've lost 1 game.

Top post mate.

I'm a bit downhearted after today. It wasn't awful but having not been at Ross Co, I haven't enjoyed very much I've seen so far this season (the cup games were ace, but meaningless friendlies in the end). I'm not panicking yet but quietly concerned might cover it. A new forward on the books would help my morale though!

Fair enough Rev, I reckon if I met WW we'd laugh heartily over the same jokes, but in print I seem to miss his intended humour. Sorry WW!
