Mid-late 20s I think. I vaguely remember his age being mentioned in an article last year and it was something like 25 or 26.

just read the comment and apology. could someone who uses Facebook, or Twitter make sure that his reference to the quality of his reporting on the Dundee football teams was no affy guid, or perhaps even affy no guid!

Give the guy a break. He was young and made silly comments. He is now trying to show the Sunderland fans that he has grown up and now has a family and is embarrassed by his comments when he was a lot younger.

Personally I think the guy is a good reporter who got a hard time on here because he actually had an opinion which some fans took exeption with

Have a certain amount of sympathy for him if true.

consider Mairi Black's past on twitter and she gets to sit in the commons with folk lapping her up and idolising her, yet this poor boy made a remark as a youngster about his local rivals and loses his job.
