Aberdeen were well worth their win and will probably finish second behind Celtic. We are toothless going forward with a lack of any sort of creativity.

Today was as bad as it gets. It is going to be a long hard season if we don't bring in people to replace Stewart and Hemmings. El Bak is ready yet and looks like Loy has fallen out of favour with Hartley.

El Bak would have been effective if he had a Hemmings type along side him to play off of. As it was, he was up against 2 or 3 defenders every time he made a run towards the box.

There was no way that PH was going to play 2 up front today. So I don't understand why he choose to play him up front on his own.

Always expect to lose to Aberdeen, certainly at Dens.

But PH is treating visitors to Dens with too much respect. The Rangers game is laughable now after their recent results. We handed it to them.

Ah well, enjoyed our brief resurgence last season. Back to normal now.

Nobody fears Aberdeen and Rangers this season, except us of course. The Sheep must love playing against us. They can make mistake after mistake at the back and get away with it because we've only got one man up front.

Delightful touch from Ross for the opening goal and a cracking finish from Holt. Shame we couldn't build on it. If Bain had made a straight-forward save to prevent their equaliser, it might have been different but we were never going to win playing like that.

I said that right after the Rangers game. When PH decided to field a more attacking side and take the game to Rangers in the second half, we really caused them problems and could have at least taken a draw.

I feel like PH is setting us up for a draw or certainly not to lose, but it backfired on him with today's game.

Tactics were wrong imo but basic mistakes cost us too. Holt and Bain for 1st. Holt and Wighton for 2nd. Duffy for the 3rd. Loy for o'hara red too.

I'm not sure that O'Hara should have been a red, but I will have to have another look at it before I can really say. You're right, some schoolboy mistakes all over the pitch today.

I was pleased to see Rooney get subbed, but that smile was soon wiped off my face after Stockley scored. That goal could have been avoided.

Tactics cost us today but I'm sure Hartley will be able to put a spin on things to blame something else.

Far too deep, El Bak had no support, too many square or negative passes.

Biggest concern for me is these are the same criticisms that have been voiced on this forum for the last couple of seasons but still Hartley doesn't see or refuses to accept that his tactics don't work with the squad that HE has put together.

Kerr handled Hayes well today, that was a tough test for him, Hayes switches wings and gets a cross in for the second goal

Julen and O Dea looked like they're forming a partnership at the back

Hateley showed his quality at times

El Bak will run all day for the team, Dundee's Kenny Miller

Aberdeen bring on two players that score a goal and win a penalty ............we bring on CW and Loy
