Did he touch the ball 2nd half?

When we signed him I looked at his stats and they were pretty root but caley fans seemed to rate him so I thought maybe stats don't tell the whole story.

So far though he looks pretty ineffectual.

Unfortunately we have a few (Duffy,  Vincent, o'hara) who aren't great imo. Ross form isn't great either atm.

Wattie,

I'm beginning to wonder if it is the players, the tactics or the manger, because something isn't quite right at the moment.  I'm just hoping this is down to the fact that we have a whole load of new players and PH is still trying to find their best positions.

Agree.. For a left sided player he never seems to look to take his man on, always plays the easy pass, never really makes a forward run, he didn't even get many corners to deliver into the box which seems to be his biggest asset so far.

Yeah I though he was gonna be a really good signing after the Dumbarton game at home in the cup he came on and showed good pace and made plenty of runs in the box but seen nothing of him so far in the league to suggest he's up for the job he's been asked to do, whatever that is. Hope I'm wrong though, want him to succeed!

A Managers 3rd season is the one that he can say is truely his team and he can wholly be judged on. 3rd season and we are all over the place.

PH made it his team the first season we got promoted, you just need to look at the amount of new players that he brought in and that team is now long gone too.

I'm just quoting what more than one EPL Manager has said about season 3 of a tenure.

Your comment makes it even worse for Hartley.

He does a lot of good work defensively which goes unnoticed but has resulted in Holt having a better season, but he's got to be more creative going forward and so far that's been completely missing. The problem is who else plays there as I don't really rate Duffy and we done have an abundance of natural left sided players.
