What's The Point?

The top six is a laugh, all the teams that get there and into Europe are bounced out pronto. So I don't see that as any sort of target. We're a way off that by the looks of it anyway. 

So what's it all about? It has to be entertaining the fans, scoring more goals than we concede and maybe winning a cup. Please can we sort it out? We have the players to do it. Playing defensive and losing is a lose-lose-lose situation.

It's all about trying to finish 10th. That is the sum total of our goal tnis season. My fear is the  Jan transfer window may be too late for us.

As has been said previously, we will never get anywhere playing one up front and the rest of the team playing on the half way line, also refs still giving dodgy decision to the top teams, o'dea first foul and he gets a card, the Aberdeen back line foul all day long and it takes the ref well,into the game before any warnings, shinnies tackle on cammy is a straight red, but according to Paul Hartley we were brilliant especially the second half, I don't know what game he was at!

It's about more cash the higher up the league you are.
So we would get dumped in the first round of Europe? SO what - we'd get a nice little wad of cash for our troubles.

I think like last year, the bottom six is going to be pretty tight right up until the end of the season. We never seem to bring anyone in during the Jan transfer window, but that doesn't mean we can't stop looking for player's who are out of contract.

If we finish 10th or above, I will take that right now.

Sorry, what's OP?

Players and fans simply aren't motivated by the club earning cash. We want to see Dundee lording it over all and sundry. This top six goal is a total red herring. We should aim for fourth.

I think we should *aim* for the top...
Would we make it? Probably not, but we cannot afford a "well, as long as we make the top 10" attitude.
If we *do* take that on board, we will grow complacent about results like today's.
That Aberdeen team were not worth a 3-1 win. But we just sat back and sat back and sat back and gifted it to them... but that's okay.. cos we never beat Aberdeen...

i think it's Killie, Hamilton, ICT, Thistle and ourselves for the battle to beat the drop.

Jesus, we are ponderously slow at build up, it's not enjoyable going to Dens at the moment.
