O K ... Let's Cut To The Chase !! Our Manager?

Watched the game on TV Today. And like probably most DFC fans & supporters I was not at all impressed with what I saw.

The question that immediately  comes to mind is...... Is PH (for what ever reason) getting enough out of this squad of players? After so much time trying to be positive & give him the benefit of the doubt, I am seriously wondering if another Manager could get much more out of this bunch of players. They may not all be top class. But whether it is because of tactics/style of play being forced upon them/problems behind the scenes, I think our present players are very much under-performing......and are much more capable of producing much better than this.

My long term ambition for DFC is to see them strive to reach consistently the top six. I am willing (as already said) to accept this may take time, and meanwhile finishing in the lower part of this Division for even another season or two, may be the best we can hope for.

But I am findinding it hard, even in this early part of the season to see us struggling and scrambling for, (& failing to get) the odd point .... I am not sure I could stand a whole season of this, where expectations are raised a little before each game, and then after another pointless game (literally), I feel I've fell doon a black hole !! I'm no sure eh could endure a long season like that, then a fight to avoid playoffs/relegation.    (OK maybe I am seeing things far too bleakly)

Last week I spoke of (posted) about PH ( Peter Houston)     To be honest, eh cannae mind exactly what eh said aboot him, other than complimenting him for the work he is doing at Falkirk ... and the very slight posibility that, in the future he maybe could/should, be considered for the DFC position, ....were PH to leave.

I am feeling now might be the time to up the anti ... So my question is .... Is it now time to consider another DFC manager?

Be it the aforementioned, or some other candidate? I just believe there is someone out there who could get more out of the Dundee Team of Players ... and after watching the Falkirk game yesterday, and listening to his post match comments, he sounds (for me anyway) he could be the man. .... I was astonished to hear that the only money he has spent to bring in players, in the last six years, is the money spent in bring Austin Nathan to Falkirk.

Others can correct me, if I misheard that and got it all wrong .... Either way he is doing a good job and sounds like an experieced professional.

(Sorry for going on too long.... Feel seek efter today)

couldnt handle having houston as manager with his dab past, but got to admit he's better than hartley. Its too early in the season, i think ,to be thinking of getting rid hartley but i've never been a fan so if we did i wouldnt bother too much tbh. The best manager in spl i reckon is wright at st j, i dont care if their footballs pretty dire , so ours, and he gets the best fout of his team for a small club and budget.
