Few doom and gloom views on here tonight so trying to be positive here.

The formation didn't help him today but meh goad he puts in some shift and he's crying out for a big striker to play off of or a creative player to thread balls through and take advantage of his willing runs. Harkins would have been perfect for him to link up with creativity wise (I know he's gone, get over it ect..)

Must have been so frustrating for him on his own doing all that running closing down the defenders knicking the ball a few times but with only him up there with obvious talent, just feel like he's not been utilised properly, definitely feel he could score lots of goals for us with the right partner up with him. Really think he's gonna be some player for us. Also got to praise Hartley for bringing him in tbf.. Just wish we'd go for it more at home <_<

He's got some engine on him right enough. Alongside a big hold up man he could be some player.

Fantastic touch and great close control. Always looking to drive at goal. Got to remember he's only played 6 or 7 games at this level too. Once he gets used to the speed of the SPL and bulks up his upper body strength I think we could have an absolute star on our hands.

If only we had a Willie Falconer for him to play off

Derry' dont think there is any more to add to what you said above. Wholeheartedly agree with every  word :)

It would have been reasonable to expect him to put his head down, as he was left up there to do it all himself.

Wee man never stopped. He chased everything. I'll concur wi' Bubster who said he'd a wee bit love for him

How many games will it be before we see the first headless chicken comment?:wacko:

There is no doubting the guy is a player, his effort today was fantastic. He never stopped running, never gave up and gave the Aberdeen defence a torid time.

Where I feel sorry for him is he seemed to have no support today at times there was about 20 yards between him and the next Dundee player. He badly needs another forward up there with him. I think he would flourish playing off of another forward.
