Ref's Bottling It

On the subject of ref's on another thread, I noticed a member saying he felt McLean 'bottled' sending off Hayes for repeated offences including diving, dissent and fouling repeatedly.

I also commented (as did Chris Sutton btw!) that Craig Thomson 'bottled' sending off Forester of The Rangers in our first match at Dens this season for repeated offences.

Well, just seen the rugby tackle on Draper of ICT by Celtic's Sviatchenko which, astonishingly, did not result in a penalty, last man sending off or EVEN A FOUL!

Are the so called 'big teams' getting a few more big calls and decisions than us mid table guys?

BTW. If you get the chance, watch this challenge. Your jaw will drop I think.

Draper was denied a goalscoring opportunity and booked for being fouled. Ridiculous.

If we had video technology then this kind of nonsense would stop immediately.

Referees have for years favoured the big teams against the smaller teams in both Scotland and England.

However the bias in favour of the Old Firm is more obvious.

The ref outdone himself tonight in the celtic alloa game, check out the tackle by Craig Gordon!  It is astonishing he only seen yellow!

Need to get the Courier to start a campaign to put a bit of backbone into refs when they bottle easy decisions that go against the OF. West coast media won't do it. Where's Liam Kennedy when you need him?

You couldna be mair right Wattie aboot Maddison.   And it wis no' jist last night's game !!

When Pawlett came on later in the game they really upped the anti on the cheatin' front.

Maybe last nights ref noticed him doing it gedee as he let Davidson away with one from behind late on
