Nicky Low looks set to make his first start of the season when Dundee travel to face Inverness Caley Thistle today.

The former Aberdeen midfielder has been on the bench in recent weeks but has yet to be handed a jersey in Paul Hartley’s starting XI following a spell on the sidelines due to an ankle problem.

However, with Mark O’Hara suspended following his red card against Aberdeen last week, Low is set to slot into the left-hand side of midfield at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

Elsewhere, there could also be a call-up for Michael Duffy up front.

The on-loan Celtic man looks likely to get the nod ahead of Rory Loy to play a supporting role up front alongside Faissal El Bakhtaoui.

Defender Kevin Gomis will again be absent as he completes a two-match ban.

Meanwhile, Inverness manager Richie Foran has praised his players for having the belief and perseverance to turn their season around.

Caley Thistle conceded 10 goals in three opening Ladbrokes Premiership defeats but have since beaten St Johnstone and drawn with both Aberdeen and Celtic.

“We’ve tweaked the shape a wee touch, we’ve tweaked a couple of players,” said Foran.

“Getting that result against St Johnstone gave us that little bit of confidence but I always had the belief we were going to turn it around.

“Results at the start were not great for us but we didn’t let it affect us. It shows the attitude. There were no crisis meetings.”
