Hartley's Shaved Off His Beard

Paul Hartley was interviewed on afternoon Sportscene and I noticed that he has shaved off his beard. He looks far smarter.

I was wondering if he decided that shaving off his beard would result in the team winning as keeping his beard was bringing poor results.

Hard not to recognise PH with or without a beard.

Small geezer, dark hair, bit of a belly and eyes that shift from side to side when he's being questioned that make him look like he's guilty of something.

He does not have a permanent beard..   he saves when it gets to a certain length.

He will have a beard by next weekend.

Tim Keyes is more likely to sack PH than sell up. Remember Keyes has plenty of money left from the sale of KH and GS to pay off the current management team.

Fair enough, but my flawed logic was that he would be getting interviewed at another club, flawed because he would have to be 'carpeted' here first. Not that I think its likely.

I'm not sure Keyes only has the money from our recent sales to play with, if he was inclined he could do the full 'Marr' but there would probably be a big red button and an 'arrooga' alarm going off.

There is nothing to stop PH doing the same as he did at Alloa. Resign.

PH had a moan in today's Courier about posters like ourselves complaining about his management at Dens yet today's result has done nothing to stop the complaints.

I don't want to come across as obstructive but who would be the parachutist of choice to land at Dens and get our squad to be the team of your dreams. I'm not exactly chipper with things but its still very early in the season, for me anyway its far to early to reach for the big red button. I would expect PH to have more character too, why would he resign on the back of a disappointing start to our campaign. I'm not one of the statto's (not a slur, I appreciate their input) but I'm sure we've gone through worse patches, even in the last few years, its just because its at the start of the season that it catches the eye more I reckon.

Hartley's got the type of beard where he shaves it in the morning and it's full blown beard by three o'clock
