International Week

Does anyone enjoy Imternational week ?  And does anyone go and watch any of the games ? 

 

Personally I went to all the home qualifiers from France 98 until Poland/Ukraine 2012 when I lost interest for a few reasons. I would love to see is qualifying for a major championships again but just can't get excited at all about the qualifiers

I'm definitely club over country, have been for a few years now. I'd much rather watch The Dee than Scotland but seeing as how the choice is removed for me I'll watch the Scotland game if I can, but I'll not pay for Premier, I already pay for Sky and BT. I've not been to watch the Scotland team live for about 4 year, I think its vastly overpriced.

I think the last Scotland game I was at was the Rous Cup against England in 1989. Felt unsafe both inside and outside the ground because of the crumbling terracing and English hooligans.

Would love to see us qualify for a major tournament. Hopefully we can reach Euro 2020 and play in Glasgow.

It is overpriced and Hampden is IMO not a good place to watch football although I'm sure it would be fabulous again if the Dee got there. 

You are not being negative Chomp, you are just giving your opinion which to be honest is how I feel

Personally I love watching/going to the Scotland games just like I do going to Dundee games. Completely overpriced of course but no more so than a Dundee game. One of the things I never quite realise until I see the players in the flesh is how much technically better the International players are compared with the SPL. In that sense it is worth the extra money. Part of it for me as well I suppose is the possibility of getting to go to these other Countries. After waiting for so many years I'm itching to get to another finals.

The most annoying thing about Internationals for me is the move to the "week of football". No thought for the fans trying to get to the games, all about the TV £££. Same gripes with our domestic game I suppose!

Have been to a few over the years, always been a great trip. 

The stadium itself isn't the best. Too far away from the pitch. Loses a lot of the atmosphere with the design. Was at Parkhead for the Scotland - Ireland game and the crowd were much louder than a normal Hampden game
