How did the 14 year old lad get on Cobra

Not sure mate. Was just following the game on social media. He played the first 45 minutes. Maybe Wattie or Den Spark will able to give us an update as I think they regularly watch the young lads.

Was there last night. Celtic dominated the match but we defended well and restricted them to just a handful of chances. Unfortunately, we didn't create anything at the other end. Warwick had a half chance right at the death but it would have been tough on the visitors.

Matty Allan and Kerr Waddell were sound at the back for us, Warwick put in a hard shift, Calvin Colquhoun added a bit of steel in the middle but we were punchless up front.

The young laddie Johnston did okay first half but was taken off at half time.

Good to see so many visiting fans making the trip from Glasgow for the game. ;)

Thanks for taking the time to let us know how it went mate. Sounds like the yoofs have the same problems as the big team then.

Thanks for the update bud.

As an aside, if this is a Development league then the line up we put out for this game is as it should be imo.  Giving the young players a chance to develop in as many games as possible.  Some of the younger lads may only manage half a game but it is still vital experience nonetheless.  I've no problem allowing one experienced player in the team to give leadership and guidance etc but I'm not a fan of allowing numerous first teamers game time in these matches.  I know that's hard when first team squad players are not getting game time but other bounce games should be arranged to cover this.
