imo, lack of quality in defence and attack cobra. but i have a funny feeling we will get a result against the english as well

A lot will depend on whether Steven Fletcher starts up front and wee Gordie refuses to start in form players. Easy victory for engerland.

If we couldn't get to the play-offs in the easiest Euro qualifiers ever, we didn't have a hope in hell of going to Russia under Strachan. There's little point in paying him off to bring in someone else now. Might as well see out another campaign then try again for Euro 2020.

I couldn't believe when Strachan said at the weekend we don't yet know if drawing at home to Lithuania is a good point. They are 117th in the world ffs.

England's front 4 will cause absolute havoc. The scariest thing? You can name any of their players in those positions and they'd still cause it.

On paper Engand's attack is terrifying, given our defence. Thankfully their play is mostly slow and laboured for the national team. If we avoid conceding an early goal it could be an uncomfortable 90 minutes for them.

Time up for Strachan and I don't say that lightly. A lot of the time you hear "it's not the manager, it's the players that aren't good enough". On this occasion I think we have better players than the other teams in the group, bar England.

If we had played players with pace in attack and had a proven goalscorer we may well have got something tonight. No getting away from the fact that our defence is limited but it was how toothless we were upfront that was frustrating and that's down to the managers selection. 

The crazy thing is that because of how bad the other teams in this group are, we may well still have an outside chance if we could get our act together. Don't see that happening with the current setup though
