There was some discussion on whether Paterson fouled Gomis, by climbing on his back, as Gomis appeared to be pushed forward by Paterson.

By coincidence, the online Tele has a good photo of that goal, taken from the other end, so showing something like the ref's view of it. Paterson does have his right hand on Gomis left shoulder, but appears to have been up before Gomis....and as Paterson was jumping towards goal while Gomis was either moving backwards or just upwards, I'd guess it was just Paterson's momentum & weight that knocked Gomis off his feet.

The really curious thing, though, is that just in front of them, Williams head & shoulders seem to have 'literally' vanished & you can see the steps & barrier 'through' him.

Is this why we seem so consistently poor at defending crosses?.....we've been struck by 'invisible man' disease? :what: [for those old enough to remember that US tv series]

Although impressed with him generally and thought he played well at tyncastle. I watched the tv highlights and he was responsible for both goals.

Have to disagree I felt our no.10 didn't make anough effort to stop the cross coming in for the second.  Going by SPFL replay Gomis definately looks to have been fouled.
