Pace And Urgency

Recommended Posts

Mr Hartley has had time to address this,no out ball for the midfield, the lack of pace and width is going to cost us. Midfield full of tidy side to side passers but nobody to take the game by the scruff of the neck and drive us on. Can anybody in our team run with the ball at their feet and take the opposition on. It's dire to watch.

A ball winning midfielder, wide players that have enough pace that they are quicker than a full back, a striker that can hold the ball up, a striker that can finish simple chances and defenders that win headers and clear their lines. Teams have done well with this without having the luxury of Stewart and Hemmings like we did. How hard can it be?

I think the manager has to take the blame for the team he has assembled. Some of his signings are very poor. But we go back to, if Hartley walked out the door tomorrow, who could we replace him with? And could they get more out of the players available.

Not sure mate, but some of that was embarrassing today.

No one can convince me that Archibald, Canning or McIntyre are awesome managers, but they're all above us in the table.
