Hamilton Academical moved to New Douglas Park or going by it’s new name, The Superseal stadium in 2001 after being homeless following the sale of Douglas Park back in 1994.
In the years between, Hamilton played their matches at CliftonHill and Firhill stadium.
The stadium consisted of two permanent stands and a further one at the side of the pitch is temporary but brings the capacity to just over 6,000. A double decker bus sits behind one of the goals but the seats on there aren’t counted into the final capacity.
The pitch is one of three in the Premiership along with Livingston and Kilmarnock that is artificial.
