Dundee Moved Back Into The Top Six At The Expense Of Today's Visitors Ross County After A Thrilling 5-2 Win At Dens Park. Greg Stewart And Kane Hemmings Sent The Dee Off To A Flying Start Before Andrew Davies Pulled A Goal Back For The Staggies. Late In The First Half Rory Loy Added To Dundee's Lead Before Alex Schalk Brought County Back Into The Game On The Stroke Of Half Time. The Result Was Still In Doubt Well Into The Second Half, But Late Goals By Substitute Craig Wighton And Greg Stewart Confirmed The Dee's Superiority On A Day When The Supporters Were Richly Entertained.
There Were No Goals At Dens Park Tonight, But There Was No Shortage Of Entertainment As Dundee And Celtic Fought Out An Exciting 0-0 Draw. An Excellent Defensive Performance Kept The Dark Blues In The Top Six On Goal Difference. Whether They Stay There After The Final Match On Saturday Before The Split Remains In Their Own Hands.
Dundee Missed Out On A Top Six Place, Going Down 2-1 To Hamilton Accies At New Douglas Park This Afternoon. Accies Held A Deserved Two Goal Lead At Half Time Through Ali Crawford And A Garcia Tena Penalty. The Dark Blues Improved After The Break, And Pulled A Goal Back Through Substitute Gary Harkins, But They Had Left Themselves Too Much To Do After A Poor First Half.
Dundee Won Today For The Third Time This Season At Firhill, Beating Partick Thistle 2-1 Thanks To Goals In Each Half By Top Scorer Kane Hemmings. Kris Doolan Equalised For Thistle Midway Through The Second Half But Hemmings' Wonderful Winning Goal Sealed The Points For The Dee With 10 Minutes To Play.
Dundee Defeated Local Rivals Dundee United 2-1 In The Final Derby Of The Season, And For At Least A Year, At Dens Tonight. On A Night Of Emotion, Drama, Elation And Tears Edward Ofere Put United Ahead Early In The Second Half Only For The Dark Blues To Peg Them Back With Kosta Gadzhalov's First Goal For The Dee. A Draw Would Still Have Sent United Down To The Championship, But Local Lad Craig Wighton Hammered The Final Nail Into Their Coffin, And Lifted The Dee Back To 7Th Place In The Table, With A Winner Three Minutes Into Injury Time.
After The High Of The Derby Win It Was Back To Auld Claes And Porridge As Dundee Fell To A 1-0 Defeat At Home To Hamilton Academical Today. Carlton Morris Scored An Early Winner And A Below Par Dee Couldn't Save The Game Despite Playing Most Of The Game In Accies Half.
Dundee Played Out A 1-1 Draw Against Kilmarnock In Their Final Home Match Of The Season. Rory Loy Gave The Dark Blues An Early Lead, Only For Conrad Balatoni To Equalise In The Second Half. Killie Goalkeeper Jamie Mcdonald Was The Man Who Earned The Visitors A Point, And Saved Them From A Hiding, As He Foiled Dundee Time And Time Again With A Series Of Fine Saves.
Dundee Brought Their Season To A Disappointing Conclusion With A Heavy 4-0 Defeat In Inverness. After Being The Better Side For The First Hour The Dee Switched Into Holiday Mode, And Lost Badly Defended Goals To Miles Storey, Danny Devine, Ross Draper And A Richie Foran Penalty.
Dundee Started Their Pre-Season Campaign With A 2-1 Victory Away To Dumbarton. Cammy Kerr Put The Dee Ahead Midway Through The First Half. Gregor Buchanan Equalised After Half Time But Kerr's Second Goal Secured The Win In A Game That Was Highly Competitive With Some Surprisingly Fierce Tackling For A Friendly.
The Dark Blues Were Given Another Tough Pre-Season Work Out In A 1-1 Draw At Alloa Athletic's Indodrill Stadium Tonight. Michael Duffy's Early Goal Put The Dee Ahead On His Debut, But The Wasps Quickly Equalised Through Jim Goodwin.
